I used the "Carmel Apple" file for this fun layout.  I always have to get a carmel apple on our visit to Disneyland.  Here are some fun apples they have there.

I used the border, girl and boy for this layout.  I made the candy store myself, and added the basket of apples from another source.  I layered my papers for the borders and used ribbon on the top border.  I used the Waltograph font for the title using MTC.

Trimming The Tree Layout

I know I said a few weeks ago that Fall was my favorite time of year but I think I may have to change my answer! LOL! 

I love everything about Christmas even the decorating. Each year we put up 6 trees so there are plenty of pictures for me to scrapbook. Today I'm sharing a Christmas layout I made using the "Trimming the Tree 2012" file from ScrappyDew. I also used "Building Boys" and "Building Girls" files for the hair on the girl and the little blonde boy to match my kids. I think this layout turned out so cute! I used the I Rock to add a little bling to the page. TFL!

Deployment Countdown Jar!

I'm excited to share a project that I've been wanting to make for a while now. As some of you may know my husband is deployed and will be for about 8 more months. I wanted to make something for my kids to help them count down the days and see the progress. I came up with this "Deployment Countdown Jar" where each morning they can take out a soldier. I made this using a couple files from ScrappyDew.com..."Military Uniforms 2013" and "Story Toys 2013." For the Air Force guy I traced the PNG file and print & cut on my silhouette because I didn't have any paper to make his uniform. I think he turned out perfect! TFL!

A Groovy Anniversary!

It's so nice to be back, I've really missed you all.  Today I have an anniversary card for a couple that are near and dear to my heart.  This is their 2nd anniversary and I really wanted to make something special for them.  Last Halloween they dressed up as hippies for a party.  Well wouldn't ya know it, ScrappyDew had a pattern called Grovy Palz 2012 that I could use.  Here is the link http://www.scrappydew.com/store/world/. I think I did a pretty good job!  Of course all the parts were made of scraps.  Let me know what you think!

I found scraps that I thought were far-out and these fit the bill.  This card was really fun to create.  The patterns that ScrappyDew designs can usually be used for just about any occasion.  

Quickly, let me tell you about the surprise party.  The gentleman's daughter was in charge of everything.  Well I don't know how she did it, but she put two different dates on the invitations.  So I was getting together a car pool for the party and come to find out it was Sept. 7th NOT the coming 14th.  I could not believe it.  So I sent the card with hubby to hand deliver and apologize for our not attending.  Come to find out, the daughter went shopping on the day of the party and forgot about it.  No one was at the address to let the guests in.  So it was a fiasco all around.  But the fishing card did make it to the birthday boy!

Welcome Fall!!

Fall begins next Sunday, on September 22.

In my country, Costa Rica, we only have to seasons: dry season and wet season (right now we are having a very wet season, it´s raining cats and dogs). 

Eventhough I have never experience a Fall, it´s my favorite season. 

I love the colors -browns, oranges, yellows, greens, etc-, I love the trees changing colors and then the leaves falling down the trees. 

To welcome 2013 Fall, I chose the "Scare Crows 2013" cutting file from Scrappy Dew. 

Those Scare Crows are so cute, full of details.
