Be Mine Card

For my Valentine Card Project, I'm using Be Mine Bears .One of my goals for this year was to work on my eyes. LOL. I used  the Node Editing Tools in Make the Cut to create my lashes. I created 3 different lashes and then copy and pasted them in place also resizing them as I got closer to the top of the eye.
I also used the Crescent Shape from within the MTC program and Node Editing to create the Grey of the eye. Added 2 small circles for the catch lights of the eye.  I printed my lashes, outline of the eye and head on my light brown paper. I then hand cut the head because my Expression is not the best for Print N Cut. I then printed the eyes on white cardstock and also hand cut them, I then glued them to the printed outline of my eyes on my head layer.

I used some Red X-mas Stickles on the White Lace Heart. I also made a shadow layer for the sentiment Be Mine. I used one of the Sizzix's Love Set Embossing folders for the red mat on the front of my card.

I also continued the heart theme for the inside mats. The stamped images are from Martha Stewart's Stamp and Ink Set, Enchanted.
I created this card for my son to give to his Aid. She has been with him since he started school. This is also for a challenge on a forum, we have to use all scraps. And I have a lot of scraps, LOL.

I hope you have enjoyed my card project.

Bee My Honey Bear

Happy New Year to all, this is my first layout that I have done for 2012
I used the file Beebear and had such fun with it.
The papers are from Bazzil and the print ones are Chloes Closet collection.
The smaller embellishment bees were done with Cuttlebug dies.
Thank you for letting me share this with you
